Bunnies and Yarn, Need I Say More

And a Little Spinning for Variety

This little beauty, spun on my Kromski Sonata, Lillian, is intended for lace. It is a single ply, 4 oz., 700 yard skein of Merino/Corriedale blend called Sunflowers. I purchased the roving for this from Maine Woods Yarn and Fiber. The second picture is truer to color. I was thinking that it would be cool if I could find a shawl that depicted sunflowers to knit with it. I am such a dork sometimes. 😉

  1. Very nice!! I say look into the Bee Shawl from Anne at Knit Spot. You know bees and sunflowers. 🙂

  2. Wow, Kelli! Where do you find the time to do all of this?? I am green with envy. That will make a gorgeous shawl.

  3. Very pretty…nice work on the spinning!

  4. Beautiful handspun!

  5. Your shawls are beautiful. Check my comment about the Latvian Mittens on previous post!
Good Luck at the Fair-hope the bunnies win and if you entered any of your beautiful shawls I know they will win.
