Knitter Bunny's™ Dutch Rabbits and Yarns

Bunnies and Yarn, Need I Say More

It’s Here!

Today is the first day of the yarn crawl. I’ve scheduled this post as I will be fairly busy showing off all of my patterns at BlackSheep at Orenco. I hope that I see some of my readers there. Wait, do I have readers?

Well, in any case, I hope to see a lot of knitters there.

This place. This place was just. I can’t find words. I loved the layout. I adored the airiness. The staff were fantastic. I can’t wait to go back again. I wish I could transplant this store into every city so that others could experience this.

There was so much fabric. And there were quilts. So many goodies to see and explore.

There was yarn. Plates. Candles. Fun stuff. Even this funny game.

ps. It’s this store in Sisters, OR.

Yarn Shopping With Extra Long Waits

Last Thursday I went to a yarn store closing in the Portland area. It was the first day of the retirement sale and since I came at the opening it was quite packed. I found just a few things to take home, but sadly stood in line for 2 hours waiting to checkout. This was my view while I waited. I found myself chit chatting with the ladies around me while we waited in line.  Our conversation ranged from rabbit poop to gardens to lunch spots and more. lol

Here was my modest pile of purchases. Some Plymouth Encore to make sweaters for Avi’s our nephew. Malabrigo Arroyo, Pagewood Alyeska, and Berroco Sock rounded out my purchases.
