Knitter Bunny's™ Dutch Rabbits and Yarns

Bunnies and Yarn, Need I Say More

My End of Year Accounting 2012

This year saw a change in my job.  I am no longer retail’s bitch, but happily working for the library.  Books are much more my style than fitting men for suits. I also saw a change in my relationship status becoming a fiancee instead of a girlfriend. My grandmother died in July and her absence continues to be felt.  My father is more irascible than ever, and my brother is making plans to move into grandma’s house. Abbie continued to be evil, but has slowly sweetened so that I am no longer tempted to kill her on a daily or weekly basis, more like a monthly basis.  If she could learn to bark less, things would be so much better . . .

I also went back to school and am 12 months into my 20 month program.  I am not looking forward to going back to school on Jan. 7, but I am very grateful that I will be finished with my 2nd Master’s degree before my wedding! The rabbits are multiplying and there are some cute show prospects in the nestingboxes.  My knitting tally was necessarily lower this year than it has ever been.  I keep hoping to feel more of a spark for knitting, but I just have too many plates spinning right now.  Plus, I have glutted myself on books, since I am working at the library and can’t help myself.  Maybe I will just have to start sharing book reviews.

Without further ado, here is my 2012 knitting tally:

  • 6 Socks
  • 2 pairs of mitts
  • 1 sweater
  • 1 shawl
  • 1 hat
  • 1 neckwarmer
  • 1 tiny parrot
  • 1 pair of pearl and silver earrings

  1. My fave is the randomness of the “tiny parrot.” Ha ha! Happy New Year!

  2. May your 2013 be just as productive, and ridiculously happy!
