I didn’t take any pictures at the Museum of Northern Arizona, except for this one. There were many examples of tapestry looms in use.
Some of the exhibits didn’t allow photography. Some of the exhibits just weren’t easy to photograph. More than anything though, there were a lot of people there! People moving around makes it difficult to snap nice photographs.
We chose both a fantastic and awful day to view the museum. It was a Navajo cultural festival event and, as such, there were many more things to see, but also many more exhibits crammed into the tiny museum. On its own the museum is worth a visit. Cute little museum, nicely displayed exhibits, pretty landscape to admire, and a large gift shop. If you happen to wander into Flagstaff one day, I would suggest a quick visit to the museum.
