Portland Day 2: International Rose Test Garden

While the roses might not have been in the peak of bloom, they were still beautiful. The scent and sights can’t really be expressed in mere pictures, but smell with me for a moment. Imagine the gentle, but competing scents of hundreds of varieties of roses, and let all of the tension you are holding melt away.

There are many more photos in my flickr account, but don’t look yet. You’ll see the rest of my pictures from my trip. 🙂 I will leave you with just two more photos.

I want one of these.

  1. MSU had a really big (not this big though) rose garden. My favorite was reading the crazy names some of the rose varieties had….Sexy Rexy was my fave!

  2. I forgot all about Portland having their own Rose Parade (so of course they would have a rose test garden). Now, you’ve added one more place that I have to see in Portland!

  3. So pretty! Looks like a great trip, K!
