While I stayed mostly true to Ina’s recipe, I do love to tweak things. This was delicious. A bit messy to make because of baking it in the oven, but worth the extra effort. I didn’t use penne though as I didn’t have any. This is a bit surprising as I stock many kinds of pasta. It is too delicious not to.
In any case, the meal was lovely and I had some extra cheese on top as well. I missed taking the photo with the cheese on top. Sorry.
