I really do love my Clematis’. The red has been going mad with blossoms and started to open last week. I finally remembered to snap a picture. The blooms haven’t opened entirely, but I didn’t want to wait. The older the bloom, the lighter the color gets.

There are some more flowers blooming. Stash aka “Lick Monster” likes to tickle my toes with her tongue whenever I wear sandles outside. I love watching my flowers open. The green lily of the valley turns pearly white. My African Violets slowly unfurl over several days.
My favorite flowers to watch though, are the Clematis. One day you have big juicy buds, just waiting to burst. Then they slowly start to unfold into giant gorgeous flowers.
