I never learned to play Pinocle, but I can at least knit the sweater! Pattern by our favorite frantic blogger: Red Dog Knits Kristi.
This child’s Tunic length sweater is knit in Plymouth Encore Worsted in a solid, gorgeous red. I did have to go down to a US 5 to get gauge, which is unusual for me. I’m usually right on or I have to adjust one needle size, not two.
It’s a terribly cute pattern. Not a difficult pattern to work, although I do hate seaming in the round. I managed to get it done and it’s not my worst work! I thought about trying to get the dog to wear it, but then I decided I didn’t want dog hair all over my knitting. Well, any more dog hair all over my knitting.
Now my biggest problem is picking an after-fair recipient.

I just love it in that color! How do I intepret frantic blogger? hmmm….Looks awesome!
i just measured my kid so i can make him one, once its outside testknitting phase
Ha ha! Any more dog hair–that’s so the truth!
I love it! I might have to set that one aside for when Moochie gets bigger.
It’s terrific! And I have a great nephew who could wear that this fall…
I’m just sayin’!
Cute!!
