Soap Sack

That title sounds dirty to me. I think I’ve been reading too much of Marj‘s blog. Or maybe it’s hanging out with Amby and Dana. No, no, I think the real culprit is Kristi.  Naw, who am I kidding?  It’s all me.

In any case, I finished the second half of my Seven Deadly S(p)ins Peace kit from a few months back.  I never checked my gauge, so I ran out of yarn before I knit to the full six inches.  I think I ended up with five and a half inches of length.  It was a really quick knit though, maybe two hours, maybe less?  The yarn is one of the softer cottons I’ve used, but it’s plied well which gives it a rounder appearance and nice texture.

So to recap: US 5 bamboo circulars, The Unique Sheep Pima Petite in Peace, Soap Sack pattern by Sarah Wilson.

ps, There are pretty socks on the needles.  Hopefully the Sock Hunter will be out and about in the snow soon.
