As socks prepare for winter, there are many different strategies employed. Some, like the Zombie socks, hibernate through the darkest and coldest days of the year. Other socks, like the cheerful red cardinal, remain a constant throughout the long winter. As the days have grown colder, and long nights have settled in, I was gratified to find a cheerful pair of *Ribbed socks hopping amongst the pine tree branches near my home.
Having watched these socks for a few days, I finally ventured outside to snap their photograph. They rewarded my diligence with a lovely portrait. Of course, they didn’t stay still for long and were happily hopping from branch to branch within moments.
Once again, I am on the hunt for socks. Until next time, this is your Sock Hunter, signing off.
