Swedish Block Children's Mittens

This is another State Fair entry. They were more for fun than anything. I used Ann Budd’s Handy Book of Patterns to start and then subbed in a cute stitch from the first Barbara Walker Treasury instead of stockinette. They are sized for a 2-3 year old, and I think they turned out very cute. I used my US 0 Hiya Hiya steel DPNs and some leftover Sundara Sock Yarn. They still need a good soak and blocking, but I couldn’t wait to show them off.
