Ah, such lovely hunting is afoot. Gorgeous socks, glamorous socks, decidely entertaining socks that cavort and mingle amongst the blossoming greenery. Were I not quite seriously alive, I might consider that I was in Sock Heaven!
Sock heaven, where socks of every shape and size might roam and play, capriciously bouncing about in delight at the warmer weather. Or, as is the case, dancing merrily in my yard, drawn back from southern climes and out of hidey holes. Socks everywhere! ‘Tis a mad Sock Hunter’s dream. What season has ever seen so many gay socks, merry, delightful, and ever so photogenic?
This pair stopped for a bit of noodling and nudging before prancing on.
They even consented to a close-up, which quite delighted me. Such *texture, such drape, such lovely colors. Quite the delightful pair as far as this sock hunter is concerned.
There were more socks to be seen and photographed and they will be happily appearing in episodes to come. Until next time, this is your jubilant Sock Hunter, signing off.
*Cherry Tree Hill Supersock in the Earth colorway knit on US 1 needles in the Diagonal rib socks (purely decadent texture and soft feel) by Ann Budd for my friend Mary Ann, also with the size 12 feet

Surely, SURELY purpley socks made you feel better. . .?
Dude, if we were on Sock Survivor Island and had to hunt/knit socks to stay alive, I would be the skinny chick in a really cool hut, but starving to death as I watched you eat/knit your socks!
They are gorgeous. So when do you sleep? Do you knit while you sleep? LOL Hope that you are feeling better.
Gorgeous socks! Hope your feeling better. It’s been a terrible flu season.
oh I love those! Gorgeous!
