Need Your Input

Would you buy the pattern for these gloves? If you bought the pattern would you prefer step by step instructions for smaller and larger sizes or would you be ok with one size? How many pictures would you like to see (eg. left back, right back, together)?
Oh, so I maybe finished these gloves and I’m a bit enamored of the pattern. I love starting right in to the cable.

They are so cool!!
Yes I would buy the pattern.
I like charts, but sometimes the step by step are helpful too.
Pictures…. just a close up of the cable and a shot of the entire glove, as long as there isn’t anything “special” on the palm.
I like step by steps and seperate for each size would be what I would go for.
I would never, ever knit a pair of gloves. But if I were, these would be the ones, and I would pay for the pattern. Very cool!
Maybe if you had a version of the pattern with fingers, and then a fingerless version, I would pay for the pattern anyway. Because even though I hate wristwarmers I seem to be making and wearing them lately. Go figure.
As for pictures, I would say one close-up (of the cable) and one double-glove shot (so people can see that the cables are symmetrical). I would only use pictures on actual hands because, well…let’s just say that the fingers do NOT appear at all deformed when they’re on your hands. Well done!
People with man hands like me would prefer multiple sizes, because “one size fits all” is a lying byotch.
Missed you by about 5 minutes when you were in Threadbear a month or so ago…Kellie said you’d just left when I got there!
LOVE these, yes I would buy the pattern. Probably a couple of sizes..yeah.
I love those gloves, I’d definitely buy the pattern. I do like good easy to read directions and multiple sizes.
They are gorgeous. I’m comfortable enough with one size, but only because I’m an advanced enough knitter (I like to pretend at least) to know what’s going to fit and how to fix it if it doesn’t. But for a broader spectrum of knitter you might want to include different sizes.
Oh! I made fingerless mitts with that cable pattern, only I crossed the cables the other direction for the (left? right?) other mitt. Too cool!
So personally, I wouldn’t pay for the pattern (since I wrote one quite similar), but I have had offers from others to buy my pattern, so I don’t see why you wouldn’t have those same offers.
And regarding your comment on my blog, you did see the part where I labeled half the stash as “stuff with potential”, right? That’s where the laceweight is, as the complicated lace shawl designs (all 3 of them) are still in their infancy.
Beautiful! I would definitely buy the pattern - I love them! I’d like them in smaller and larger sizes and charts and/or step by step; I’m not picky now that I know how to read a chart. I do think you may sell more if you have both.
Again - BEAUTIFUL!
Ooohhh, PRETTY!
Me likey lots. I’m not a big pattern-buyer but these would definitely be considered. A few sizes would be good, since not everyone can wear the same size.
Nice job!
