I’ve bought a little bit of yarn in the last few weeks. Not too much mind you, just some birthday yarn. 
Some Malabrigo laceweight.
Some Raven series STR. (Ok, a lot, hee!)
I stopped by Threadbear on Black Friday as I was in Lansing to judge a rabbit show the next day. I was really hoping that I could run into Kellie, and I did. My first comment was something to the effect of “Hi! Can we hug the employees?” After some catching up and rooting around, I came home with enough yarn for two sweaters. Well, I’ve got a hankering to knit sweaters. Please don’t mention the two unfinished ones. I’m working on them. Really. I should have progress pictures soon.
Cascade 220 for a sweater.
New Zealand Wool Pak 8-ply for a sweater.
Ok, so maybe it was a lot of stash enhancement, but I needed it, right? It was my birthday present to myself.
Yummy yarn…….ya know, I have about five or six yarn shops that I visit pretty regularly and I don’t think ANY of them carry Malabrigo. The STR colors were beautiful, too. I have some STR in my sock yarn stash, but the colors you chose strike my fancy more than the ones I bought. Malabrigo seems to be an obsession with many. Gotta check it out sometime. But not now, not now. Must. Concentrate. On. Holiday. Knitting!

The Raven series (I have some too) strikes me as a little morose-I guess I love color.

You’ve got some good stash enhancing going on over there! All the yarns are great I really like the STR colors.
If I could, I would buy every single Raven color in Laci. They are gorgeous!
