Sock Hunter Episode 10: Ebony Love

Day 12 . . . I am still on the lookout for a pair of *Ebony socks. These nocturnal socks are very difficult to find in the wild as they blend in superbly with the evening colors. I am extremely frustrated with my lack of progress. . .
Day 15 . . . These socks have still eluded my best efforts at tracking and I feel strongly that they are laughing at me. I just can’t take it. I want to find the socks, but I am about to go mad and fling yarn to the sky. . .
Day 16 . . . Still I wait, the socks showing me a mere glimpse of a heel or wiggle of a toe each evening and never sitting still long enough to photograph. It is driving me mad and I find myself nearly breaking my double points in frustration. . .
Day 17 . . . I have found their roost! I know where they sleep! Victory is mine!
*Ebony socks knit in Fleece Artist Basic Merino in Ebony using size 2 birch DPNs and a basic stockinette sock
