State Fair Entries 2007

Last years I posted about the entries that I was making for the 2006 State Fair to keep myself on track. I thought that it would be fun to do the same this year. In no particular order is the list of items that I am taking to the State Fair this year.
1. Non-professional weaving: shawl
2. Lace: knitted item
3. Spinning: Alpaca Skein
4. Spinning: Plied Skein
5. Spinning: Novelty Skein
6. Spinning: Single Ply Skein
7. Spinning: Handspun knitting
8. Knitting: Shawl or scarf
9. Knitting: Accessory
10. Knitting: Felted Accessory, not hat or purse/bag
11. Lace: tatted item
Not bad for a summer’s worth of work, eh? I will admit that the shawl was woven a year ago and the bookmark was tatted last fall, but the rules say it can be made in the last three years, so they are acceptable. I’m dropping all of my precious items off on today. And remember, I’ll be gone for a few weeks, but I did arrange a couple of “sneak” posts that will hit while I’m gone. I’ll be back to the blog at the end of Aug.
I’ll do my best to keep up on my reading until then.
