Scarfy for my Grammy
June 20, 2007 by knitterbunny
This is a little lace knitting that I’m entering at the Indiana State Fair. It is lovely Sea Silk knit in a Leaf Pattern and blocked within an inch of its life. I used one skein of Sea Silk to make this scarf. In fact, I purchased this at the Hoosier Hills Fiberarts Festival and it was the only yarn that I bought that day.
I used a size three Addi lace needle. It was my first project with this needle and I have to admit, I rather liked it. I was rather skeptical about these needles as I am very particular about the feel of the needle as I am knitting, but these passed.
I’m giving it to my grandma for her birthday in August after the State Fair competition. She’ll be 81 this year. I think she’ll really like it.

Very pretty. I can’t believe that you knit that up already. She is going to love it.
Good luck at the fair.
