Wanna Plan a Party?
June 19, 2007 by knitterbunny
Well, more of a meet-up than a party really. You see, I’m going to be judging an evening rabbit show on June 30 in Charlotte, MI and I should be done in the wee hours. If I sleep until about 11am and check-out I should still be at Threadbear by 12pm on July 1. So you know, we could maybe meet up there and have some fun knitting and chatting and maybe driving the poor Threadbear staff insane? We could always meet up and head out for lunch. Or do a yarn crawl of the shops open on Sunday. What do you think?
Here are your stats:
Date: Sunday, July 1, 2007
Time: 12:00pm (noon)
Place: Threadbear Fiber Arts, Lansing, MI (to start?)
Occasion: Knitting-Party-Meet-up-Blow-Out-Summer-Before-4th-of-July-Kick-Ass-Shindig (aka Let’s Knit!)
Are you in? Let me know in the comments or via e-mail. ![]()

Hmm, how long would it take me to drive from Florida, where we will be vacationing, to Michigan? I’d have to leave FL before we even get there. We leave on the 30th of June from Indiana.
Have fun!
Dang, wish I could be there. Have a great time.
Rats - we will be up north in Alpena for the first half of the month.
Any rabbit judging going on further north for you during that time?
I’m in!! It’s on my calendar! And I’m bringing Sarah Lou (skeinsandbeans.com) with me.
Hello…this is funny because I was just about to e-mail you. I would like to come to your party! Any of the things you mentioned sound good to me. Also keep in mind…July 1 from 3-5pm should be our Yarn Tails knitting group (with the dogs), so if you would like to incorporate that into the plans, I think it would be lots of fun! And Rae and I would enjoy having some company for a change. Of course, Rae is the mastermind of that dealio so if you’re interested I will check with her to confirm and see about location.
The reason I was going to e-mail you is that if you are able to be in Chartucky on Saturday a little early, I will take you to Bayly’s for some P.J.’s! If you like bread, or things that are fried, or things that are garlicky, or things that are salty, you will like them. If you like all 4 you will love them (as I do)!
Dude, I’ll come to your party if you’ll come to mine…Kristi and I are plotting for something later in the summer. So for right now, count me in!
Sounds good! I will be out of State on the 30th but July 1st is open and a good yarn crawl is always on my radar.
See you at Threadbear.
And DO go with Erin to Bayly’s-the PJ’s are great!!!!!! Our store is right across the street-Erin can point it out to you!
If enough people were coming Lindsay at the Yarn Garden would probably open for awhile-Or wait–I have keys!!!!!!!!
I’d like to join you as well, depending on how hot it is. My car has no AC.
