First off, I finally named my Traveller after nearly 3 years. Vivian has been a very good wheel to me and I’ve had a lot of fun learning about spinning with her. However, there is a new wheel in the house and she is currently consuming all of my time. Without further ado, meet Lillian.
Lillian (to the right) is a Kromski Sonata and I ordered her a week ago. Within one week of ordering (at less than MSRP too) she showed up on my doorstep.
Mind you, I had a final project due Thursday evening, and I really needed to go finalize the power point with my group, but I put my wheel together and started spinning instead. Bad Knitter Bunny. ;) Don’t worry we didn’t have any trouble polishing our presentation.
I promptly sat down at the wheel again when I got home and in ninety minutes I had spun up quite a bit. The first thing that I grabbed out of my box is what was spun and it just so happens to be the “days end” roving from the Full Bobbin that I bought at the Fiber Event. Let’s just say there isn’t much of that 8 oz. bag left.

Yay!!!!!! I am so happy for you!!! I love my Sonata too. I got the walnut finish one. I still have yet to name it, but at the moment the hinges are squeeking. I just got some graphite to take care of that problem. I am sure that you will love Lillian. Did you get the carrying bag too??? It is really nice.
I love the way they flank your TV there! Beautiful!
Wow! What a great gift to yourself!
